If you want a strap that has a beautiful texture, good scratch and water resistance, and remains looking pristine even after many wear, Saffiano is the right choice. Saffiano leather is a full grain calf skin, it has a very distinct crosshatch grain that was designed, developed and patented by Mario Prada in 1913. The pattern is created by embossing a cross-hatch pattern on wax laying with the surface of the calfskin, granting it high levels of scratch and water resistance. Each strap designed specifically to fit the  OEM Cartier Santos 100 deployant clasp.

Material : An iconic leather widely used by luxury brand Prada, Saffiano leather from Italian tannery features a unique cross hatch pattern that's instantly recognisable. Thickness : 3.5mm on lug area taper down to 1.7mm on holes area

Stitching : Each stitching hole is punched by antique awl and hand stitched with white wax yarn. (you can choose any other color combination/stitching to make a truly custom strap).

Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.
