These newer models feature a simple pressure-button mechanism on the back of the strap near the attachment, it’s easy to hook and release the strap from the case. The versatility of an Epsom leather strap is something truly special, it is soft and contours the wrist well from day one. Additionally, we also offer strap options for vintage Autavia models, including those from the 1960s to early 2000s — which use regular spring bars.
Material : Vegetable-tanned top grain calf leather from French tanneries, features a beautiful texture from the embossment of the grain patterns. Finished with excellent resistance against wear and with a waterproof finish.
Thickness : 4mm on lug area taper down to 2mm on holes area
Stitching : Each stitching hole is punched by antique awl and hand stitched with white wax yarn. (you can choose any other color combination/stitching to make a truly custom strap).
Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.
How it's made : Over 10 hours of labor and precision were involved in the making of this strap for a luxe look and feel. An extraordinary watch strap to lust after.
