Description : Introducing the new addition to the Cartier Santos-Dumont collection. Elephant leather watch strap designed exclusively for Santos Dumont feature Quick-switch system using the same metal adapters and comes with a quick release spring bar to provide a flush fit for the Cartier Santos-Dumont without any lug overhang. Unlike the Santos line-up, this collection was made to only fit straps, not bracelets. With its slim case and classy look, it was a very dressy watch that worked well on a range of straps.

These watch straps are made from vegetable-tanned leather, which is an eco-friendly and natural alternative to traditional leather tanning methods. The texture of the leather is designed to mimic the look and feel of real elephant skin, which adds an exotic and sophisticated element to your Dumont. Coming in 4 of colours to choose from, you can choose the one that best suits your watch and outfit.

While regular straps could be used, it does not create an integrated fit that flows nicely with the case, which is not ideal.  After research & development now we are able to make integrated straps for the three sizes of Santos-Dumont on the market - Small, Large and Extra Large.

Material : Vegtan Goat leather fully dyed through and then the surface receives a dark colour top coat which is polished off leaving a two tone finish with the colour revealed and darker valleys in the grain. (the tanning process is a unique 23 step process that takes over 4 weeks to produce each hide to give it the beautiful grain, soft supple feel and even color)

Thickness : 3.5mm on lug area taper down to 1.3mm on holes area

Stitching : Each stitching hole is punched by discreet tone-on-tone stitching that enhances the durable leather's rich colour.

Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.

How it's made : Over 10 hours of labor and precision were involved in the making of this strap for a luxe look and feel. An extraordinary watch strap to lust after.

Warranty : This watch strap is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase when used under normal conditions and for its intended purpose.
