Description : Introducing the Hornback serie for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. Designed to complement the iconic and refined character of the Royal Oak 39mm, Royal Oak 41mm, and Royal Oak Chronograph 41mm.

If you want the Royal Oak to have a bolder, more substantial look, Hornback is one of the clearest ways to get there. Made from genuine crocodile leather, the strap uses the raised dorsal scales along the back to create a fuller, more pronounced profile through the centre. Because the height, spacing and shape of these scales vary naturally from one hide to another, every strap has its own character while giving the Royal Oak a stronger presence on the wrist.

Before adding this strap to your cart, please check the original configuration of your watch. For the Royal Oak 39mm and Royal Oak 41mm, this strap can be made to fit models originally fitted with either an OEM bracelet or an OEM leather or rubber strap. However, for the Royal Oak Chronograph 41mm, this strap is ONLY compatible with models originally fitted with an OEM Bracelet version and will NOT FIT models originally fitted with an OEM leather or rubber strap.

Material : Genuine crocodile leather from the dorsal section of the hide, featuring naturally raised horn-like scales and a pronounced central ridge. Each piece varies naturally in scale height, spacing and shape.

Thickness : 3.2mm on lug area taper down to 2.5mm on holes area.

Stitching : Each stitching hole is punched by antique awl and hand stitched with patina wax yarn. (you can choose any other color combination/stitching to make a truly custom strap).

Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.

How it's made : Over 10 hours of labor and precision were involved in the making of this strap for a luxe look and feel. An extraordinary watch strap to lust after.

Warranty : This watch strap is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase when used under normal conditions and for its intended purpose.
