Description : Introducing the Racing serie for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. Designed to complement the iconic and refined character of the Royal Oak 39mm, Royal Oak 41mm, and Royal Oak Chronograph 41mm.

AP Racing takes a more motorsport-inspired approach to the Royal Oak, with elongated perforations running through the center of the strap and double-row contrast stitching along the edges. The open detailing breaks up the surface and gives the strap a lighter, more dynamic look, while the structured profile keeps it sitting cleanly against the case and wrist. The result is a sportier interpretation of the Royal Oak without making the overall design feel too aggressive.

Before adding this strap to your cart, please check the original configuration of your watch. For the Royal Oak 39mm and Royal Oak 41mm, this strap can be made to fit models originally fitted with either an OEM bracelet or an OEM leather or rubber strap. However, for the Royal Oak Chronograph 41mm, this strap is ONLY compatible with models originally fitted with an OEM Bracelet version and will NOT FIT models originally fitted with an OEM leather or rubber strap.

Material : Fine calf leather with a lightly textured surface and structured feel, giving the Racing strap a clean shape while keeping the perforated detailing well defined.

Thickness : 3.2mm on lug area taper down to 2.5mm on holes area.

Stitching : Finished with double-row hand stitching, with each hole individually punched and stitched using red waxed thread. The two parallel stitch lines run along both sides of the strap, adding a stronger visual detail while keeping the overall construction clean and balanced.

Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.

How it's made : Over 10 hours of labor and precision were involved in the making of this strap for a luxe look and feel. An extraordinary watch strap to lust after.
