This leather strap watch is adorable! Elephant is an exotic leather that is very durable with a coarse, rippled texture. The sheer quality of this strap really has to be touched to be believed, here is no chemical coating or waxing on top, which is why they are so very soft and comfortable. Every strap gets its own individual patina, which is something we love.

Material : From the body of African elephant skins are referred to as panels, fully dyed through and then the surface receives a dark colour top coat which is polished off leaving a two tone finish with the colour revealed and darker valleys in the grain.

Thickness : 5.5mm on lug area taper down to 3.5mm on holes area

Stitching : Each stitching hole is punched by antique awl and hand stitched with patina wax yarn. (you can choose any other color combination/stitching to make a truly custom strap).

Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.

How it's made : Over 10 hours of labor and precision were involved in the making of this strap for a luxe look and feel. An extraordinary watch strap to lust after.
